Remote Cabin Experience
Meiser farm has been our family’s favorite destination for more than two decades. The 107-acre property in Owenton Kentucky is the perfect get away. The recently renovated living room and 288 sq ft porch has added a new piece of luxury. The cabin sits on the back of a 1⁄4 mile gravel driveway.
Our Journey
In the late 1990’s, our family bought an old goat farm, complete with a farmhouse that witnessed countless memories.After an unfortunate arson event swept through Owenton and destroyed the original farmhouse, we were faced with a decision: let the land sit idle or breathe new life into it. Steve and his brother Mike decided to build a small get away cabin. It got the job done, but was more of a place to lay your head than a get away destination.In 2022, Steve Meiser passed away. After debating what to do with the property, we saw an opportunity to continue his legacy. Today, that cabin is transformed, retaining its rustic charm while integrating modern luxuries,A True Kentucky Experience
Located on 110 acres of pure Owenton, Kentucky wilderness, Meiser Farms grants you an all-access pass to nature.Our farm's trails, large outdoor rock fire pit, and vast landscape is all offered within a 45-minute drive from Lexington and a short trip to the Ark Encounter

Dogs absolutely love it here, perhaps more than anyone else. How often does a dog get to explore off-leash, right? To make your four-legged friends feel right at home, we provide dog
bowls and a large crate.
